The course registration starts from 8:30am and the course will run from 9:30am – 5:00pm. The Course Reference Book and your Certificate of Attendance will be handed to you at registration on the day and will also be available electronically via the NB App and NB Dashboard. You do not need to prepare for the course in advance. We would like you to turn up on the day relaxed and ready for an enjoyable educational experience.
Driving from O’Connell Street in the City Centre, follow the signs for the N1 North onto Dorset Street and Drumcondra Road. At the railway bridge overpass on Drumcondra Road, turn right onto Clonliffe Road. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto Jones’s Road. You will see the entrance to the Hogan Stand on your left, which is opposite Croke Park Hotel. This is the pedestrian entrance to the Summit. Take the lift to the 4th Floor.
For car parking, continue on this road until you come to a set of lights, the junction of North Circular Road (NCR). Turn left onto the NCR, Gill’s Pub is on your left and take an immediate left after Gill’s Pub, this is a small street called St. Margarets Avenue. The car park is located at the end of this street. There is pedestrian access from the car park onto Jones Road for the main entrance to the Hogan Stand (opposite Croke Park Hotel).
If travelling from the Airport/North, follow directions for the city centre. Just before the railway overpass at the end of Drumcondra Road Lower, turn left onto Clonliffe Road. From the top of Clonliffe Road take the third right onto Jones’s Road at the traffic lights. The Hogan Stand entrance is on your left.
The closest railway station is Drumcondra at the intersection of Drumcondra Road (N1) and Clonliffe Road, a 5 minute walk from the stadium. This station is served by Arrow trains. The closest DART stations are Connolly and Clontarf. Connolly is a 15-20 minute walk and Clontarf a 20-25 minute walk to the stadium. The closest LUAS and Intercity Rail stop is also at Connolly Station.
From the city centre to Drumcondra Road – No 3, 11, 11a, 16, 16a, and 41.
Free on-site car parking is available in the Davin Car Park and accessed off the North Circular Road via St Margaret’s Avenue. Further information can be found on the venue website here.

By attending the course you will earn 6 CPD credits. In each chapter we include a Quality Improvement Ideas box which provides suggestions to stimulate further continuing professional development such as audits and practice development. This additional work can be claimed as CPD credits.
For example, if you highlight improving end of life care as a major area for your PDP for the year ahead and subsequently do 7 hours work of reading the topic, looking at the resources, doing an audit, preparing a presentation, devising a new practice policy/guideline, you can claim a further 7 credits.
